Coaching Built Entirely Around You
One-to-one and two-to-one coaching, fully programmed around your goals and your season of life, with a coach whose attention stays on you.

Personal Training at Valdes Performance is our most individual coaching: you and your coach, one-to-one or with a partner, working from a written plan built around your goals, your history, and how you actually move. It begins with a free intro session and a movement assessment, then builds a written plan around your goals, whether that is full-body strength, focused upper or lower body work, or a more bodybuilding-style approach. It runs on a Personal Training membership, and it suits anyone who wants focused attention, is returning after time away, or is working carefully around a specific injury or joint.
Wherever you are starting from, we will meet you there and help you find the right fit. Personal Training is for anyone who wants a coach fully focused on them: your goals, your history, your season of life, and steady attention on every rep. It is the most individual way we coach, and it begins the way every membership does, by understanding how you actually move.
You get a written, progressive plan built for your body and adjusted week to week, coached one-to-one so nothing gets missed. If you are returning after time away, working carefully around a knee or a back, or you simply prefer focused, private attention, this is where that lives. Prefer to train with a partner? One-to-two coaching gives you the same programming with someone alongside you.
Start with a free intro session
Your first visit is a free intro session, a relaxed conversation to help us understand where you are and where you want to begin. We talk through your goals, your training history, and what a stronger life would actually look like for you, then walk you through the studio and the Valdes Performance app. From there we do a movement assessment: how you squat, hinge, reach overhead, and move under a little load. That assessment becomes the map for your plan, so your training fits the person in the room rather than a template. If you are weighing coaches nearby, our guide on how to choose a personal trainer in Winter Springs explains why a real assessment is one of the clearest signs you are in good hands.
Programming built around your goals
Your plan is not a pile of random exercises, and it is not a fixed template either. Personal Training is where we cater the programming to what you actually want, whether that is full-body strength, focused upper or lower body work, or a more bodybuilding-style approach. Sound coaching runs underneath it all, so the foundational movement patterns your body relies on every day are there whenever they serve your goals, without forcing every session into the same mold.
In a one-to-one session, your coach builds the plan around you, swaps a variation, dials tempo or load, and watches your form on every rep. As you get stronger, the plan progresses with you.
Who trains one to one
Small groups are how many of our members train, and one-to-one is the right fit when you want or need the extra attention. It tends to suit:
- People easing back into training after months or years away, who want to rebuild confidence at their own pace. If that is you, start with our guide on getting back into fitness after 50.
- Anyone working carefully around something specific, like a cranky knee or a sensitive lower back, who wants programming built around it.
- People who simply prefer focused attention, or whose schedule calls for the flexibility of one-to-one sessions.
Wherever you are starting from around Winter Springs, Oviedo, Longwood, and the surrounding Seminole County communities, the aim is the same: to meet you where you are today and build from there. Your coach remembers what you were working toward last week and picks your plan up exactly where you left off.
Challenging, but always approachable
Good coaching is not about leaving you wrecked on the floor. It is about the right amount of the right work, done consistently, so you get stronger without burning out or getting hurt. Your sessions will ask something of you, and they should also feel doable, week after week. Because Personal Training runs on a membership, real progress comes from consistency and accountability over time, not one heroic workout. Your coach keeps the plan moving, adjusts it when life gets busy, and folds in the recovery and mobility work that keeps your body ready. The goal is simple, and it is yours: strength you can carry into the rest of your life, so you feel stronger, lighter, and more capable.
Your first session is a free consultation. No card, no pressure, just a conversation.
Questions, answered
It is a relaxed conversation, not a workout. We talk through your goals and your training history, walk you through the studio and the Valdes Performance app, and do a movement assessment so we can see how you squat, hinge, and press. It does not ask for a card, and there is nothing to prepare.
Yes. One-to-two coaching gives you the same individual programming with a partner alongside you, which many people find keeps them consistent. Tell us at your intro session and we will set it up.
Yes, and that continuity is one of the most valuable parts of the experience. The coach running your fourth set is the one who watched the third set last week and remembers what you are working toward.
It is. Wherever you are starting from, we will meet you there. Your plan begins from your movement assessment and progresses at a pace that fits you.
Every Personal Training membership always includes access to the Recovery Suite and Open Gym. If you want unlimited recovery, you can upgrade to Recovery+. And if you want to add our small group training, either Small Group Strength Training or the larger Coach-Led Group Training classes, you can add it to your membership at a discounted rate. We will walk you through the options at your intro session.
